Ahoy! It's a Pirate!

For last week's Library storytime, the kids were asked to dress up like pirates. Jonathan was quite excited to do so - he knows all about pirates, thanks to several books we've read. He knows that they have swords, eye patches, skull and crossbones, and pirate ships.

He knows that they don't say please and thank you, they don't brush their teeth, and they don't tuck kids into bed.

He was the only one to wear a pirate costume, and boy was he proud! Everyone commented on his. I made the eye patch especially for this day...

The worst attribute of a pirate: that they don't tuck kids into bed!!! GASP!
