A Simple Prayer

This evening when Jonathan was getting ready for bed, I told him it was time to say his prayers and then I would read him his last book. I usually say "his" prayers for him, but tonight when I told him it was time to say his prayers, he started. It was a little hard to understand, but I heard pretty clearly:

Jesus, thank you for this day, and help me have a good night.

What a great prayer!
